Brush seal properties
A brush seal is made of polypropylene. This strong material makes the fibers durable and scrub-resistant. They return to their original shape, they do not break. Brush selas are also flexible and easily adapt to the surface. In addition, Steigner seals are factory-fitted with adhesive tapes that allow for a quick and easy installation. Brush seals are available in several sizes and colours.
Advantages of Steigner seals:
- reduce thermal energy cost
- protect the interior from insects
- muffle sounds and noises
- silence the work of drawers and doors
- are easy to assemble
- and are extremely durable
How to install a brush seal?
Before proceeding with installation of the seal, thoroughly clean the surface. Next, peel off the security tape and start placing the seal where you’d like for it to go. Tighten the strap so that the adhesive can grip the surface better. A properly installed and cleaned brush seal will serve for years without losing its properties.
