Steigner brush seals are most often used in sliding elements that cause noise, for an example in doors or cabinets and gates. They effectively suppress such sounds and reduce creaking. Brush seals stop air from breezing in and keep the heat inside the room. Thousands of bristles attached to a plastic strip successfully adapt to the sealed surface, providing long-lasting protection.
A main advantage of self-adhesive brush seals for gates and doors as well as cabinets and furniture, is their simple installation that takes just a few moments.
Each Steigner brush seal has an adhesive strip so the assembly is quick and easy and requires no additional tools. In order for the seal to adhere well, it should be installed on a clean and dry surface.
Polypropylene seals are often chosen not only by professionals, but also by private individuals who build furniture or renovate houses.
Steigner brand offers brush seals in beige, brown and grey in various sizes ranging from 4 mm to 21 mm, depending on your needs.
Polypropylene used in the production of seals is a high quality material which is characterized by great flexibility and resistance to ozone and harmful UV radiation. Its high adhesion is reinforced with integrated silicone yarn consisting of mono filaments. Thanks to its properties it adheres perfectly to the surface. Polypropylene makes the brush soft and gentle, yet durable and resistant to permanent deformation.
The brush height is always shown including the padding ( it’s 1 mm). Depending on the needs, the seal can be cut to required length. The width of the foot for a brush seal is 6.9 mm.
