Garage threshold properties
Great sealing features
Garage threshold fits the gap between garage door and the ground. Effectively prevents rain, insects, dust and wind from entering.
Durability
Garage threshold is made of durable EPDM material (synthetic rubber), which is known for its flexibility, resistance to weather conditions, ozone and extreme temperature changes. EPDM does not age or crack, therefore it performs its function for many years.
Profile
Garage threshold profile adapts to the door and the ground, ensuring optimum seal. It is easy to drive over without damaging the tires. Importantly, Steigner garage threshold does not deform even under the heaviest weight.
Easy installation
Clean the area where the threshold will be placed. If the garage threshold is too long, cut it so it fits snugly with the wall. Close the garage door. Slide the seal into the gap from the inside (as in the picture above) and press it firmly. This is the place where you will mount the threshold. Outline it on the floor with a pencil and remove it. Apply the glue to the bottom of the threshold. Then place the seal, starting from one side and gradually sticking it to the surface. Remember to also silicone the edged of the threshold to the wall. Wait 12 h before the first drive. Warning! The adhesive is not added to the seal.
