SBD properties
The SBD02 garage door seal is made of plastic modified with an elastomer. This makes it more flexible, stronger and weatherproof than elements made of ordinary PVC. The seal tolerates frost as well as heat, retaining its insulating properties and shape throughout the year.
Installation of a garage seal
Fasten the seal by simply sliding it into the guide at the bottom of the door. In case of a sliding problem, the guide or seal may be smeared with a thin layer of grease, oil or other slippery fluid.
Tip: garage seal protects the bottom opening between the door and the floor, but with above-average rainfall and flooding, water can enter through the side gaps. In order to fully secure the garage, it is also necessary to seal the door around the entire circumference.
